Who will be representing the Philippines for this year's international pageants on Miss Universe 2014, Miss International 2014, Miss Supranational 2014, Miss Intercontinental 2014 and Miss Tourism Queen International 2014 as Binibining Pilipinas 2014 coronation night will be held at  Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines on March 30. This 51st edition of Binibining Pilipinas is set to set a very pressured setup as last year's beauty Queens made it to the international scene like  Miss Universe 2013 3rd runner-up Ariella Arida, Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago, Miss Tourism Queen International 2013 Top 10 finalist Joanna Cindy Miranda and Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Johanna Datul.

Filipinos will always choose to smile amidst hardships; we find happiness even in the small things. We know how to be grateful and remain positive. We believe in the goodness of others. Indeed, despite the calamities that severely damaged our country, the Filipino optimism shines through.

As our country rebuilds itself from the calamities, ABS-CBN aims to promote the Philippines as a unique travel destination that takes pride in the beauty of each region, colorful culture, and of course, the stories behind the unique and infectious smiles of the Pinoys. Centering on the theme, PINASmile, the Summer Station ID will serve as a vehicle to showcase to people around the globe that the smiles are back in the country.

The team believes that genuine smiles can never be scripted, so the team made the Summer Station ID's goal to bring out raw and authentic happiness from the simple Pinoys. Kapamilya stars and news personalities were tasked to be the smile seekers. They were asked to immortalize these blissful moments with their camera lenses as they immerse themselves with the locals of the different places they visited such as the Igorots of Baguio, Aetas of Mt. Pinatubo and Ivatans of Batanes.

The Summer Station ID team also made it a priority to visit the provinces that have been severely devastated by calamities last year, particularly Bohol, Samar, and Leyte. The positive stories and warm smiles from these hard hit provinces are testaments of how brave and happy the Filipino hearts could be despite the tragedies that our fellow countrymen went through.

Let's make our summer story worth smiling about again, and show the world that the Philippines is one happy place worth visiting and coming back to.

On March 31, in 71 Gramercy, Makati City, Anne Curtis reportedly (by PEP) berated Sam Concepcion at the Birthday Party of their friend, Vice Ganda. Sam is rumored boyfriend of her younger sister Jasmine Curtis-Smith. But in an instagram post, ABS-CBN's Dyesebel starrer and ANNEKapal queen, Anne denied this rumor.

As a support for rebuilding efforts for the Yolanda (Haiyan) Victims and survivors, Japanese band UchuSentai:Noiz made a cover of Philippines'Rivermaya single, Liwanag sa Dilim and posted it via Youtube. There is a part of the video which was taped in Tacloban, a region in the Visayas.

UchuSentai:Noiz (宇宙戦隊NOIZ Uchū Sentai Noizu?) is a visual kei rock band from Japan. They are known for their energetic music, wild cosplay-like outfits, and live shows full of energy and on stage antics. Their music is very eclectic and has many different elements from genres such as punk, pop, metal, hip-hop and electronic music in their sound and thus cannot be properly labeled. Some songs tend to not mix all these sounds together and focus on one or two, while other song combine all these elements. There are two singers, Angel Taka (lead) and Masato, whereas for the most part Angel sings in more of a pop friendly voice though occasionally can sound a bit more punk-ish, while Masato tends to sing in harsh/brutal metal vocals and even purely hip-hop/rap style vocals which Angel will sing backup for.

Pinoy Big Brother All In Official Housemates, Use #PBBALLIN as Official Hashtag

On Sunday, Philippines' most talked House, Pinoy Big Brother House will be opened again and this time, it's a clash of categories in Pinoy Big Brother All In. This is the biggest season so far with celebrities, teens, and adults sharing one home for over 100 days. This Endemol-owned format program, Pinoy Big Brother will bring together housemates of different age groups, along with local personalities. It was reported that a total of 18 official housemates will be occupying the "Kuya's" house. The youngest housemate is 15, while the eldest is 26, according to  Director Lauren Dyogi.



So who do you think are the official housemates? Per Direk Dyogi, they came from different Provinces in the country - including Aklan, Quezon, Bulacan, Batangas, Negros, Davao, Quezon City, Paranaque, Makati, Las Pinas, and Pasay.



Pinoy Big Brother All In is hosted by Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzalez, John Prats, Robi Domingo, and Alex Gonzaga.

Genesis, Chapter 7 - The Noah's Ark

1Then the LORD said to Noah: Go into the ark, you and all your household, for you alone in this generation have I found to be righteous before me.a 2Of every clean animal, take with you seven pairs, a male and its mate; and of the unclean animals, one pair, a male and its mate; 3likewise, of every bird of the air, seven pairs, a male and a female, to keep their progeny alive over all the earth. 4For seven days from now I will bring rain down on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and so I will wipe out from the face of the earth every being that I have made.b 5Noah complied, just as the LORD had commanded.

13On the very same day, Noah and his sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of Noah’s sons had entered the ark, 14together with every kind of wild animal, every kind of tame animal, every kind of crawling thing that crawls on the earth, and every kind of bird. 15Pairs of all creatures in which there was the breath of life came to Noah into the ark. 16Those that entered were male and female; of all creatures they came, as God had commanded Noah. Then the LORD shut him in.

17The flood continued upon the earth for forty days. As the waters increased, they lifted the ark, so that it rose above the earth. 18The waters swelled and increased greatly on the earth, but the ark floated on the surface of the waters. 19Higher and higher on the earth the waters swelled, until all the highest mountains under the heavens were submerged. 20The waters swelled fifteen cubits higher than the submerged mountains. 21All creatures that moved on earth perished: birds, tame animals, wild animals, and all that teemed on the earth, as well as all humankind.e 22Everything on dry land with the breath of life in its nostrils died. 23The LORD wiped out every being on earth: human beings and animals, the crawling things and the birds of the air; all were wiped out from the earth. Only Noah and those with him in the ark were left.

Last year, pop star Princess Sarah Geronimo was romantically linked to actor-athlete Matteo Guidicelli but the two stars denied the speculations. But yesterday or late last night, during a taped-interview of ABS-CBN's late night talk show “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” , Sarah Geronimo confirmed her true relationship with Matteo after that hot issue on "mahal" as term of endearment.

“Sige, sabihin ko na po, boyfriend ko na po si Matteo... Kasi marami na rin nagsasabi na paligoy-ligoy, di ba, so yun po,” the "Maybe this time" starrer Sarah admitted.

On November 21, 2014, the third installment of The Hunger Games is set to hit theaters with it's title The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 . In the trailer, it shows "Official Panem Address" - war is coming to Panem as the oppressed districts rise up to fight the Capitol. It also shows President Snow demanding the people of Panem to stay "together as one."

Mary Ann Van Der Horst who proudly said she was born from The Philippines, took the stage of The X Factor Australia 2014 Audition with her version of Halo by Beyonce. Mary Ann is working as a Care Worker with a great voice as she gave a great impression from The X Factor Australia Judges namely Dannii Minogue, Ronan Keating, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, and Redfoo . Ronan Keating even shocked and said during the performance, "I was never expecting this at all!"



Mary Ann Van Der Horst is 28 years old.

Fifth Solomon or Robert Solomon Pagotan of Pinoy Big Brother All In Edition has reportedly came out as Gay in the latest PBB All In with #PBBAcceptOrDeny episode. Robi read a comment from outside world that a housemate best fit in a comment, "Ayan na naman si ____ Parang bakla kung magreklamo kaya siguro di sila magkasundo ni ___ ! #Alamna" But the thing was nobody asked Fifth about that comment but he bravely talked about it and owned it like a boss. Next scene, Fifth talked about the gay stuff in Big Brother's confession room.


Fifth is nominated for eviction in the PBB house this week.
